Native Australian Ingredients
Australia is blessed with an abundance of natural resources – including wonderful native produce and flavours. There are an exciting array of Native Australian Ingredients now available from online stores and even at local supermarkets.
While most of my ancestors are European, DNA testing has confirmed I also have some Indigenous Australian ancestry. I'm enjoying exploring this connection to the land I live on through native gardening and cooking with native ingredients.
I particularly love to incorporate wattle seed and lemon myrtle into my sweet recipes. And you just can't go past macadamia nuts, especially when you enjoy them in my Macadamia Cookies!
